The Youth and Education Sector supports children and young people who are at risk or are facing challenges through inclusive and practical programs that foster confidence, independence, and social connection.
Delivered across Together In Health's centers, partner organizations, and communities, these initiatives provide safe and welcoming spaces where children and youth can develop skills, overcome challenges, and explore their creative and physical potential.
Across all activities, special attention is given to values such as inclusion, environmental awareness, and community engagement. Through educational programs, workshops, and public initiatives, these principles are integrated into every experience to promote responsible citizenship and holistic development.
Founded on the belief that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment, the Inclusive Learning Program has evolved into a dynamic initiative serving diverse communities while maintaining its commitment to positive social impact.
The program is built around three main components. Educational activities provide children and youth with opportunities to develop academic, social, and life skills in a safe and encouraging setting. Through workshops and interactive learning experiences, participants are empowered to build confidence, independence, and resilience.
Community engagement initiatives encourage young people to actively participate in society, promote inclusion, and challenge social barriers. These activities help foster creativity, teamwork, and responsible citizenship.
In addition, specialized support programs extend services to vulnerable communities and individuals facing social or economic difficulties, ensuring that every participant receives the care and opportunities they deserve.
Together In Health collaborates closely with schools, community organizations, and local partners to continuously expand its impact and create meaningful opportunities for children and youth across Lebanon.
Together In Health's Disability Inclusion Sector is dedicated to ensuring the full participation of persons with disabilities in society through a rights-based and person-centered approach.
At the heart of our work is the individual, whose holistic needs guide our interventions. We strive to support people in meeting their essential needs while empowering them to achieve independence, dignity, and full social inclusion.
The sector provides a comprehensive range of services, including accessibility support, rehabilitation programs, mobility solutions, and tailored interventions designed to improve quality of life and promote equal opportunities.
We are committed to strengthening disability inclusion in Lebanon by advocating for accessible environments, advancing inclusive practices, and equipping communities with the tools needed to build a more equitable society for all.
Focused on creating inclusive and barrier-free environments, Together In Health's Accessibility and Adaptation Unit provides complementary services that support the rights, dignity, and independence of persons with disabilities.
Adaptation focuses on personalized solutions tailored to each individual's functional needs. Following a comprehensive assessment, customized tools and modifications are developed to improve daily living and enhance autonomy.
The unit also works on accessibility solutions based on Universal Design principles, creating environments that proactively remove barriers and ensure equal participation for everyone.
Services include ramps, accessible pathways, adapted spaces, information accessibility, digital accessibility, and inclusive communication solutions that help build a society where inclusion becomes the standard.
